Specialists: Coastal Orthopaedics / Dr. Xiang Salim

Dr Salim specialises in knee and shoulder surgery, as well as complex and revision joint replacement surgery.

Following completion of his medical degree, Dr Salim completed his Fellowships in New Zealand (sports orthopaedics) and North America (complex and revision joint replacement) where he also undertook several visitations, including at the prestigious Mayo Clinic.

He joined Coastal upon his return to Perth where he sees patients for robot-assisted joint replacements, complex primary and revision knee replacements, ACL reconstructions, osteotomy and lower limb realignment surgery, complex primary and revision hip replacement and arthroscopic shoulder surgery and shoulder replacement.

Dr Salim operates at Bethesda and at St John of God Hospital in Subiaco.
