Specialists: Coastal Orthopaedics / Dr. Matthew Scaddan

Dr Scaddan’s areas of specialty are feet, ankles and knees.

Perth raised and educated, Dr Scaddan became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 2009, after which he spent 12 months in the UK undertaking subspecialty training in foot and ankle surgery.  Returning to Perth in 2010 he is a foundation surgeon of Coastal Orthopaedics.

Dr Scaddan has a special interest in returning workers to their pre-injury roles wherever possible and is well regarded in the workers compensation space.  He is an Approved Medical Specialist with WorkCover WA and is qualified to undertake permanent impairment assessments under the AMA Guides 5^th edition and WorkCover WA Guide (4^th edition).
