Specialists: Coastal Orthopaedics / Dr. Brendan Ricciardo

Dr Ricciardo has a breadth of specialties including orthopaedic trauma, shoulder, hip, knee and ankle.

Completing his medicine degree at UWA, Dr Ricciardo undertook Fellowship in Adelaide before starting a private orthopaedics service Geraldton where he and his family lived for 18 months.  Upon his return to Perth he joined Coastal Orthopaedics as our fifth surgeon.

Born and raised in Albany, and having worked in regional WA locations including Bunbury and Geraldton in the past, whilst continuing to practice in Esperance, Dr Ricciardo has a strong affinity with regional healthcare.  He combines this with his passion for training the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons, and is currently an Orthopaedic Trainee Supervisor and Director of Training for Orthopaedic Surgery at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
